Griffith Public Schools is pleased to announce that we will be using a new Visitor Identification system in each of our schools.
As of November 1st, any visitor who will be entering the building will be asked to give his or her driver’s license or another government issued ID to the office. The office will run this ID through our new Raptor Visitor Management System which checks information against multiple security databases. Once approved, the visitor will be issued a sticker badge that identifies the visitor, the date, and the purpose of the visit.
The system will be used only for visitors who are entering the building. Those who visit the office to drop off or pick up will not be required to complete the scan.
The safety of our students and staff is a top priority. This new visitor identification process enhances safety by limiting access to those who pose a potential threat. Thank you in advance for your patience and cooperation. If you have any additional questions, please contact the main office.
